How Adam Elliott and Bradman Best made amends after the teenage Newcastle player attempted to kiss his teammate’s wife in a humiliating television moment

It appears that the two Newcastle Knights players who were at the center of an unpleasant television moment have made amends.

Bradman Best, a football player from Newcastle, was made fun of on live television over the weekend following a ridiculous interaction with Millie Boyle, an NRLW player and Adam Elliott’s wife.

After the Dragons’ 30-10 triumph, Boyle, who is employed by Channel Nine as well, was questioning the 22-year-old Knights center when things took an embarrassing turn.

Boyle tapped Braddy on the shoulder and said, “Thank you very much,” as their conversation came to a conclusion.

In response, Best attempted to seize Boyle by the waist and advanced to plant a kiss on her cheek, but she retreated a little and said, “Go put on a shirt and, uh, we’ll talk to someone else.” Congratulations for your victory.

Supporters speculated that the extremely awkward moment would spark some thought-provoking discussions in the Knights locker room.

However, based on Elliott and Best’s individual Instagram pages, there doesn’t appear to be any tension after the awkward meeting.

On Tuesday, at almost the same time, the two shared the same photo from the beach, suggesting that they had gone together. The photo of Best’s dog was posted to the social media network.

Boyle had kissed Best’s cheek just before the embarrassing moment and inquired about the unusual weather the game was played in, which left the pitch looking more like a swimming pool than a football field due to heavy rain.

“Have you ever played in such conditions?” she enquired.

“I don’t think I’ve ever played in that sort of weather,” Best retorted to the youngsters. Although it poured, I’m delighted we still won.

How Bradman Best and Adam Elliott patched things up after young Newcastle star tried to kiss teammate's WIFE in cringeworthy TV moment

When Boyle and Elliott tied the knot in October of last year, they emerged as the NRL’s ultimate power couple.

Elliott lost his contract with the Bulldogs as a result of the event, which led to them expulsion from a Gold Coast restaurant in August 2021 for kissing in the men’s restrooms. This set back their romance.

Growing up on the south coast of New South Wales, the two were friends since childhood. In October of that year, they announced their relationship.

For a while, their connection was distanced by Elliott’s commitment to Canberra and Boyle’s to Newcastle.

Heartwarming moments occurred in 2022 when the Knights won the NRLW grand final, and Elliott shed happy tears in the stands while addressing the crowd following the victory.

In October 2022, Elliott proposed romantically by the seaside, utilizing a magnificent diamond that had formerly belonged to his great-grandmother.

Following the proposal, a visibly thrilled Boyle wrote on social media, “Cannot wait to marry the absolute love of my life.”

Elliott, 29, is no stranger to drama off the field and is certain that his friendship with the Roosters prop has given him the much-needed balance in his life.

“At the moment, Millie has the most influence on my happiness.” It means the world to me how much she has invested in my family and raised my young kid [from a prior relationship],’ Elliott remarked.

“She’s a very special person; I probably don’t give her enough credit; trying to explain everything she does for me makes me a little emotional.”
